How to get started...

1.  Contact Us to schedule a No Obligation, No Commitment introductory Discovery flight! You will sit in the pilot's seat with instructor by your side for a fun & relaxing 1st flight to learn the basics and see if you like flying (YOU WILL!) The time you fly will count towards your training for a Private Pilot Certificate!

2.  If you decide to continue flight training, you will get access to our airplane and instructor scheduling calendar and you can choose to fly on your schedule and budget.

3.  We will verify your citizenship with Birth Certificate or Passport and submit your application for a Student Pilot certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration, free of charge. YOUR LICENSE TO LEARN!! (Non-Citizens can fly as well, after TSA background check!)

4.  Before you fly solo, you will need a 3rd Class aviation medical certificate, available from local physicians, typically less than $100 and is a basic vision, hearing and blood sugar screening.

5.  A written exam will also be required and we have a complete Private Pilot Kit with everything you will need to self study or attend one of our ground schools to prepare you for the test which is good for 2 years.

6  The FAA requires a minimum of 40 flight hours before a student can take the practical flight test.

7.  You fly your friends & family to Mackinac Island for lunch!!!
